Privacy Policy

Garnio is an app published by MASTEN AB (“we”, “us”). It has no accounts, no sign-in and no server of its own. We never ask for your name, email or any other details about you.
Information we handle
- On your device only. Your progress, statistics, language and settings are stored on your device. They are never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
- Purchases. If you buy “Garnio Pro”, the payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. The app only asks the store whether the purchase exists on your account, so it can be restored.
Garnio does not use analytics services, does not collect crash reports of its own and does not send any app data anywhere.
Your patterns, photos and projects stay on your phone. When you add a pattern (PDF or image) or a yarn photo, Garnio copies the file into its own folder on your device. Nothing is uploaded, shared or sent to us or anyone else.
Camera and photos: Garnio asks for the camera only when you choose “Take a photo”, and uses the photo library only for the picture you pick.
Backup: Garnio keeps a daily copy on your device for 14 days. Your phone’s own backup (iCloud Backup on iPhone, Android backup to your Google account) may include Garnio’s data – that is handled by Apple or Google under your account, not by us. If you export, the file goes only where you choose to save it.
Photo details: a photo you add keeps the information your camera stored in it (for example the place it was taken, if location was on). It stays on your device and in your own exports only.
Sharing
The only third parties involved are Apple or Google (purchases). We do not sell personal data and we do not build profiles.
Children
Garnio is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Because we store no data about you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. You can still contact us with any question.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above.
